December 2009
I don't have a real reason to post here, except that I haven't in some time. The games page has been updated to include my newest Xbox LIVE Indie Games title - Drinkards. This may well be the past post of 2009, we'll have to wait and see!

Games page!
I spent all of yesterday revamping my games page. This allows me to:
A) stop using my old shared-hosting domain to host files
B) reorganize and archive over half a decade of work
C) finally be able to see all of my games in one place!
Right now there are 12 games featured for enough platforms that anyone can enjoy them! I have other games that have not yet been added (some of which are even fun!), but hopefully now that the real "work" of setting the page up is done I will not be as lazy about adding content.
Next on the docket is to pretty-up my personal section of the site, so potential employers can read how awesome I am. (Ego? nah.)
Once all THAT is done, I have plans to make a couple new XBLA Community Games this summer, working around the aforementioned and oh-so-needed employ I hope to be enjoying soon

Job hunting
So I'm in New York looking for summer employment. If anyone has a job available, lemme know ;)
But as far as this site goes, I would like to begin reworking it. I'll leave everything that works (the forum) as-is for now, and finally set up a games page.

...For a while anyway.
As is painfully obvious, this site hasn't been receiving the love. I have been very busy working on other projects, including the development of two xbox games: Garrett the Slug and Oh Snap!
But to the point, I'll probably add content again here someday. It could be soon, but it all depends on what happens to me. All in due time

New forum is coming together
So I just got all the pieces of the new forum (which, coincidentally looks the same as this one, but is much better) working together locally. This is a big step, and puts me one step closer to having the new version of the site up and running! (woot.)

Another Update.
I'm having some problems getting around to working on the site... but this weekend holds promise! I'm still certain that I can deploy the first round of the redesign within a week and a half. Also, a new game is finally in design phases! Hoorah!

Progress thus far
I have a lot of the redesign done, but I have also been slacking the last couple weeks. I hope for an initial implementation to be deployed somewhere in the ballpark of 2-3 weeks from now, but hopefully sooner. Its just a bit busy with the beginning of classes and all :P

The New Direction
That's actually a misnomer. It's not a new direction, its a fresh look at my old direction. Anyway, its in the forum under "general" so people can actually respond. Let me know what you think.

What I've been up to...
So I'm in one of those "doing too many things at once" modes. I've laid out the direction for this site on a short term scale, and I've begun working more in XNA, getting graphics and stuff working.
The problem now is I've become obsessed with creating an ultra-realistic 2D physics engine, so I may make little reportable progress until that is finished. Going out of town for the weekend won't help, and I'll be back at school before a fortnight! Where did summer go?!

Its about update time...
So first off, the server code rewrite is going very well -- except for the fact that I quit working on it :D
It just gets really boring, ya know? I'll be finishing it up soon, but I took a small break to begin familiarizing myself with XNA. In case you don't know, its a framework designed to allow games to be written for both the PC and Xbox 360. Its pretty freaking sweet. Whatever my next release is, (likely Project Lunar), it will be made in XNA. Also, if you want to make Xbox games, you can get started for free today. Check out http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/xna/default.aspx to get started. Google is your friend too!
